Seminar on "iKNOW community: new methods in Foresight and Innovation Management"

On April 6, 2012 Dr. Rafael Popper delivered the seminar "iKNOW community: new methods in Foresight and Innovation Management". The event was organized by the HSE Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies.The seminar was devoted to communication platform iKNOW operating in the field of Foresight, innovation and horizons scanning.

On April 6, 2012 Dr. Rafael Popper delivered the seminar "iKNOW community: new methods in Foresight and Innovation Management". The event was organized by the HSE Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies.The seminar was devoted to communication platform iKNOW operating in the field of Foresight, innovation and horizons scanning.

iKNOW is aimed at integrating and disseminating  knowledge for early identification of issues, events and developments (e.g. wild cards and associated weak signals) shaping and shaking the future of science, technology and innovation in Europe and other world regions. R. Popper elaborated on the key domains of the iKNOW, iNews, iDelphi, iCommunity, iLibrary, etc. The speaker told how to create a personal profile and what features the system provides for its users. In conclusion, R. Popper considered issues of collecting and processing data for filling a database of the weak signals and wild cards which is constantly being updated.
