Bridging Russian and European Technology Platforms

On December 7, 2011the HSE Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation organised the International Workshop “Bridging Russian and European Technology Platforms”.

On December 7, 2011 the HSE Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation organised the International Workshop “Bridging Russian and European Technology Platforms”.

The following issues related to creation and functioning of Technology Platforms were discussed at the Workshop:

 

• Russian and European TPs: key deliveries and stakeholders’ expectations
• Participation of national governments and business in TPs creation and functioning. 
• Russian and European TPs: is collaboration feasible? Opportunities and barriers.
• Mechanisms of communication and collaboration between Russian and European TPs
• University-industry relations: mechanisms and policy tools in Russia and the EU
• Role of small and medium-sized enterprises in TPs.

 

Representatives from the European Commission, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation; leading experts from Germany, Spain, France, UK and USA, as well as representatives of the Russian Technology Platforms, participated in the Workshop.
